Preheat the oven at 200 degrees Celsius.
Mix the flour, baking powder, sugar and the butter in a bowl, add the milk and the raisins and work a smooth dough.
Roll out the dough on a baking surface to a thickness of 3 centimeters.
Cut out with a cookie form or a round glass about 5 centimeters in diameters.
Place a baking paper on a baking sheet and put the scones on the paper.
Beat the egg yellow and brush the top of the scones.
Place in the middle of the oven for 15 minutes.
Take out the scones and let them cool down for a few minutes and serve together with butter and jam.
