This is a homemade French seasonal cherry cake made with fresh cherries from the garden. It can be served warm or cold and to enhance the flavor you can serve vanilla ice cream on the side of the cake.

Oven temperature:
180 degrees Celsius
Instructions:
Preheat the oven at 180 degrees Celsius
Wash and take away the cores from the cherries.
Butter a pie form.
Beat the eggs like you would make an omelet. Add the sugar, eggs, vanilla sugar and the flour.
Mix together with the soft butter and the milk, stir well.
Pour the mixture in the oven form, add the cherries, and sprinkle some butter on top.
Place in the middle of the oven for 40 minutes, or until the surface is golden brown.
Take out and serve either warm or cold together with vanilla ice cream.
