This is a recipe of a Taco cake also known as tortilla cake. I love stacking layers of tortilla breads filled with taco spiced mice beef, and covered in cheese. When taking it out of the oven the cheese is melted, and you can decorate it with your favorite ingredients. This time we covered it with slices of salami, olives and mini mozzarella. The whole family likes to eat this cake with taco chips, guacamole and fresh vegetables while watching a movie on Friday evenings.

This recipe is from Sweden
This is not a dessert or breakfast pancake, this is a main dish that is traditionally served with lingonberry jam (a non-sweet jam most probably to be found in a Scandinavian shop or at IKEA).
Have you heard of the Swedish semlor, a cardamom bun filled with almond paste and whip cream? The semlor (plural) is so popular so it even exists a special day for this pastry, the Tuesday between Shrove Monday and Ash Wednesday. This is a modified version of the original semla made in to a big soft cake that still taste like a real semla.
This is a homemade Swedish Rulltårta with raspberry mousse, served as a bakery more than a coffee bread. Easy to prepare with raspberries and vanilla whip cream and fun to decorate each piece differently on the plate before serving it.
